报告人简介：Dr Xun Chen has been a Reader in Precision Engineering in the School of Computing and Engineering of the University of Huddersfield since 2007. He has previously been an academic in the University of Nottingham, the University of Dundee and Fuzhou University and a royal research fellow in Liverpool John Moores University. Dr Chen specialises in precision manufacturing technology including application of computing science, mechatronics and artificial intelligence to manufacturing process monitoring and control, particularly to abrasive machining technology. He has published more than 150 research papers widely in top international journals in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering. Dr Chen is a founding member of the International Committee of Abrasive Technology, a member of the EPSRC Peer Review College and a committee member of the Chinese Automation and Computer Society in UK. Dr Chen has been an Associate editor of the International Journal of Automation and Computing, the Journal of Materials Processing Science and Technology, and an editorial board member of the International Journal of Nanomanufacturing, the International Journal of Abrasive Technology, the International Journal of Computational Materials Science and Surface Engineering and the Open Mechanical Engineering Journal.
